Kevin Johnston

Co-Founder/Partner

Kevin is the Co-Founder and Partner of High Point Recruiting. He has experience within the legal recruiting industry placing partners, associates, paralegals, law clerks, and in-house legal counsel at prominent law firms primarily within the Florida legal market. Kevin’s focus is to develop strong relationships with his clients by listening to their needs and approaching his work with integrity and trust.

Kevin graduated from St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, FL with a B.A. in Business Management. He also spent 4 years playing basketball at the collegiate level, reaching the NCAA Division II Sweet 16 in 2014 and serving on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee as a voice for student athletes throughout the country. Following school, Kevin worked in the legal recruiting and business development fields. His business career began as the General Manager and Director of Sales for a South Florida retail business and transitioned to Business Development for a nationwide insurance technology company later in his career. Before starting High Point Recruiting, Kevin also worked for another legal recruiting company in South Florida.

Operating in both the legal recruiting and business fields throughout Kevin’s career has enhanced his skills in developing relationships, sales, managing people, and having a “driven to win” mindset with a strong work ethic in all facets of life.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, competing in basketball leagues, and spending time with his wife and family.

Vince Trombino

Co-Founder/Partner

Vince is the Co-Founder and Partner of High Point Recruiting. He has extensive experience in the healthcare finance sector, coupled with a previous background working in the medical recruiting industry. Furthermore, his work experiences underscore his commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and resilience. Vince is dedicated to building strong relationships by meticulously addressing client needs, ensuring that each individual is matched with opportunities that align with their unique qualifications and career goals.

Vince holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Miami, where he also minored in Finance, Health Sector Management, and Psychology. He furthered his education with an MBA focused on Finance from Florida Atlantic University. Vince’s interest in the healthcare sector sparked during his academic years, leading him to an intern role at a healthcare staffing agency in South Florida.

Concurrently, he began his business career as a Financial Analyst for a hospital chain, where he played a key role in generating reports that influenced company decisions. His early experiences in both fields ignited his passion for leveraging complex systems to improve lives and drive business outcomes.

Vince’s diverse career in business, analytics, and medical recruiting has honed his abilities in team management, strategic influence, relationship building, and maintaining a competitive edge. His experiences have equipped him with a well-rounded skill set that drives success in various professional environments, such as the legal recruiting industry moving forward in his career.

In his spare time, Vince enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
